The amout of awards we’d award this spot is ridiculous. Indeed, it’s safe to say we’re half in love
with Cecconi’s Dumbo: the newest in the international string of restaurants from the Soho House team, now
open on the Brooklyn waterfront.
This is going to be the crown jewel of this summer for important dates, Sunday brunches, that one weekend
your parents visit, whatever work outing you’d like to make that much better, etc. It’s a winner all
around. Picture a never-ending labyrinth of green tufted velvet sofas, high archways adorned with flowing
curtains, crystal chandeliers and waiters clad in matching white suits weaving their way through it all with
platters of homemade cavatelli and strawberry rosé spritzes. We know, but it is that good.

Then there’s the patio, with cozy chairs and marble four-tops situated right on the promenade. They’ve
got an aperitivo thing going on between 4 and 7, and that’s the place to do it. To drink, you’ll choose
between honey pear ginger shrub bellinis and Mexican-inspired Negronis with chili-chocolate infused Campari.
To nosh, you’ll have things like hamachi crudo with Sicilian pistachio and prosciutto-arugula pizzettes.
And come back soon for Sunday dinner, which’ll be a three-course prix-fixe served family-style. Then come
back at the end of the year or so, because they’ll be adding a Soho House-style club above the space,
aptly titled Dumbo House.
