Time out.

Wow.

We’ve always wanted to pull a Zack Morris on you like that.

And dreams become reality at Saved by the Max, a Saved by the Bell-themed diner now open in West Hollywood. Tickets are online now, with a whole new batch available at noon to see it in action through September 2019. Check it out.

In any case, it’s going to be fun to do some drinking here with friends. First, you’ll pass a row of red lockers (Jessie’s contains caffeine pills, Slater’s has Aqua Net) and find yourself in a faithful recreation of Bayside’s favorite teenage hangout, the Max.

You’ll appreciate the Miami Vice color scheme, Bayside Tigers logo, red vinyl booths and neon sign. You’ll find giant Screech heads, vintage arcade games and hilarious memorabilia. Then, you’ll take lots of pictures of you and your buddies clowning around with that stuff.

When you need to eat, there are AC Sliders, Preppy pastrami sandwiches and seasonal Spano salads from the chef of Chicago’s Michelin-starred Entente. When you start questioning what you’re doing in a Saved by the Bell restaurant, there’s wine, beer and Mark Paul 75s (gin, Lillet rose and lemon) to drink.

And over on the right, there’s a recreation of Mr. Belding’s wood-paneled office. You can rent that for your private functions and, given you have the means, even rent the real Mr. Belding to be in attendance.

To teach you and the gang important lessons about friendship. And cake. He likes cake.
