Since Josey Baker and the Mill sincerely appreciate you as a human being, they’ve gone ahead and made their popular pizza night an every-evening occurrence (minus Tuesdays, because even pizzaiolos need a break). You just looked like you needed to know that.
MOVING ON UP
You know Shiba Ramen’s little kiosk in Emeryville Public Market. Well, they’ve just opened a new 40-seat spot in downtown Oakland. They’ll have the same stuff as the original location, but they’ll also be experimenting with new rice bowls and ramen dishes, what with the added kitchen space and all. Thanks, kitchen space.
GRID VICIOUS
Off the Grid launches yet again on Friday. Only this year, while keeping favorites like Lobsta Truck, they’ll be bringing in vendors from their two-year incubator program, Instrucktional, so that you might partake of their wares. First up: Postrique, a sweet and savory churro operation. Always best to lead with churros.
BALL SO HARD
The biggest adult ball pit party in all the land is happening Saturday at the Great Northern. Eighty thousand balls and a massive dance party will be involved. Your mom yelling at you to stop drinking in the ball pit will not be involved.
PROPOSING A ROAST
Starbelly is kicking off their quarterly patio picnic series this Tuesday with a whole-pig roast on their heated and covered back patio. Plus, they’ll have Magnolia beers, which should not be considered optional. We don’t make the rules.
