Over Proof, that shapeshifter of a bar-within-a-bar at ABV, has morphed yet again into Este Oeste. It’s a Spanish-influenced bar with a five-course paired menu that could involve anything from house-cured sardines with jamón to their Don Karlos cocktail with oloroso, lemon, orgeat and gin. Nope. No wrong turns there.
THE COLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Roll Up Creamery & Café has soft-opened inside the V16 Sushi Lounge (just go with it) in the Mission, slinging rolled ice cream and soft-serve. And in other cream-related news, the SF Ice Cream Fest is happening on Saturday with many an ice cream truck, plus outdoor games. Mmm, games.

Outdoor Movie Night returns to Duboce Park on Saturday for a screening of Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, complete with a concession stand supplying hot chocolate, popcorn and other things that are nice to eat and drink during outdoor screenings of Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.

The night is dark and full of terrors, but the morning is bright and full of Game of Thrones-themed brunches. So head to either location of Friends with Benedicts’ pop-ups for a themed menu that gets updated after each GoT episode. I Want Her to Know It Was Brie French Toast, anyone?
