THE POP-UP
Indeed. EFM (Engineered for Motion), the label known for incorporating high-performance materials into sharp-looking menswear, is having their first-ever pop-up shop down in SoHo, with their fall/winter 2016 collection of blazers, trousers, jackets and everything else up for grabs. They’ll also be throwing a series of workouts, parties and events. That’d be the “motion” part.
THE BUBBLES
The ever-so-hospitable folk at Cherche Midi are launching a champagne happy hour. It’s where you and yours might enjoy glasses of champagne, champagne cocktails involving chestnut honey and rosemary syrup, and complimentary edibles like fried stuffed olives and goat cheese flatbreads. It’s a positively delighted hour.
THE APRES-SKI LOUNGE
A snowcapped door leading into an après-ski alpine lounge with fur throws, warm Swedish glogg (it’s… very heavy), cast-iron skillet cookies and baked brie with figs. Actual skiing not included.
