Pens That Were Made to Be Passed Down

There was a time when pens were pens. And in an effort to help that last sentence make more sense, let’s
just fast-forward to these meticulously designed and crafted pens from Everyman that are 20% off right now.
They’re built so well they might outlive the written word.

BONJOUR, CAIO

The French Market Welcomes Some Italian Sandwiches

The cure for this week’s potential lackluster lunch comes courtesy of the French Market, where they’ve
welcomed two new vendors. So, will it be al pastor-inspired ceviche at Tiger Ceviche or a spicy soppressata
sandwich from Firenze? You can just tell us what you did later.

SUNNY DISPOSITION

Paddy's Pub Takes Lincoln Park. Madness Ensues.

Fictional Paddy’s Pub, meet very real Replay bar. The Lincoln Park barcade has given itself the It’s Always
Sunny in Philadelphia treatment just in time for St Patrick’s Day. Which basically means classy
stuff like Charlie’s Fight Milk, canned wine and IV bags filled with cocktails.

GREEN DAY

This Irish Breakfast Will Be Here When You Need It

At some point this weekend, you might need an Irish breakfast cooked by an actual Irish person. That’s
sausage, bacon, white and black puddings, tomatoes, mushrooms and baked beans served all day Friday through
Sunday at DropShot Coffee & Snack Bar thanks to chef Sarah Jordan. AKA, certified Irish person.

A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT

            Sipping-Wine-on-the-River Season Is Back

While the masses huddle onto every bridge and sidewalk to watch the dying of the Chicago River, you can be
sipping rosé or chocolate porter at City Winery’s Riverwalk outpost. It reopens for the season on St
Patrick’s Day, so you should probably show your support by drinking some wine.

Sunday

MAD TO THE BONE

March Madness With a Side of Breakfast Burgers

There are a million places you could watch March Madness. Yes, a million. But there’s only one where you can
watch it on exactly 10 TVs with an order of bananas foster French toast or a breakfast burger topped
with housemade sausage gravy while sipping on a Zone Negroni. That place is the Moonlighter, by the way.

What Else Is New

Sarah Freeman is often accused of hiding secrets in her hair. She can make any cocktail, as long as that cocktail is a rye Old Fashioned, and has never met a saison she didn’t like.
