Sofar Sounds is taking their act to the roof. Wait, you’ve never heard of Sofar Sounds? That’s probably because they specialize in intimate concerts in secret locations. But this summer, they’re putting on a not-so-secret series at Drumbar, complete with local musicians and Moscow Mule popsicles. So… secret’s out.
SLAB AND GO
You know how this goes: the city’s best rib masters gather in Uptown to show off their best slabs. You, following the scent of BBQ sauce, arrive ready to admire their handiwork. JC Brooks Band takes the main stage and all is right with the world. Or at least all is right at this particular rib fest.
SUIT UP
Your Fourth of July could include ribs, corn on the cob and cold beer. Or it could include all those things next to a rooftop pool. Cabana Club is doing its best backyard BBQ impersonation for its inaugural Fourth of July party. They’ll bring the mezcal margaritas. You bring the American flag swimsuit. Or not.
