A Giant Hollywood Patio for Rye, DJs and Uni-Topped Pasta

There. You may now enjoy Liaison, a licentious restaurant and lounge that looks just good enough to make us use the word “licentious,” opening tonight in Hollywood.

Check it out. This patio has big, wild nights written all over it. Maybe that’s not the exact message behind that giant Retna mural. But it seems to be the general message behind those dual waterfalls and giant birdcages hanging over the leather sofas you’ll occupy with friends for an evening.

What you’ll be doing: imperceptibly nodding your heads to DJs while drinking Les Deux cocktails (passion-tea-infused rye, lime, almond and Royal Combier), named for a ghost of this place’s past. And sharing skirt steak and uni-topped charcoal pasta. And eventually standing up right damn there at the table to dance.

Oh, and somebody in your group will inevitably want to take a picture of the neon sign asking people not to do coke in the bathroom.
