Or, and we’re just throwing ideas out here, you can have a gin drink from the world’s oldest cocktail book inside a repurposed elevator car shell.

Decisions, decisions…

That latter option comes courtesy of the Traveller Bar, a three-seat, roving pop-up bar with a serious thing for throwback cocktails and literature about throwback cocktails. It’s now open through the end of the month inside Collins Bar at the Loews in South Beach. Check it out.

This small yet mighty establishment has been making its way across the country for some time. But now it’s here. Now it’s time for you to round up an equally small yet mighty group and pull up a metal-and-leather barstool at the zinc-topped bar.

After noticing the bottles and vintage recipe books, you’ll suddenly remember why you came: the Gin Fix with fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and raspberries dating back to the bar’s first-edition, 1862 Bar-Tender’s Guide. It’s one of the pop-up’s eight retro recipes from its boozy tomes, all of which are available to you via the bar’s iPad.

Scour the pages, make round two a 1922 daiquiri with rum and pomegranate grenadine, then head to an outdoor table at the hotel for a little fresh air.
