Debates are done. Someone on the street just said “pumpkin spice.” Pretty sure you just saw an orange leaf.

It’s officially time to lock down your Halloween plans.

So, here goes: eight bashes, blowouts and balls worth considering—whether you’re looking for a Clue-themed masquerade, a Stranger Things–themed party in a Bushwick warehouse or Andrew Carmellini’s posh rooftop full of fire-eaters and contortionists.

“All of the above” is a respectable choice.

Stranger Things Theme Party at Lot45
You require: Somewhere to kick off Halloween a week early, while also addressing your ’80s nostalgia.
You’ll receive: This Stranger Things–themed party, with waffles, Dungeons & Dragons and a DJ spinning songs from the soundtrack. And a chance to attempt your best Eleven look.
Oct 23, 8pm-midnight, $20-$60, Lot45, 411 Troutman St (between Wyckoff and St. Nicholas), Brooklyn, 347-505-9155, tickets here

Carnevil at Mr. Purple
You require: A killer view of the skyline, and someone with the ability to tame serpents.
You’ll receive: A “carnevil”-themed LES rooftop with a juggler, a stilt walker, a snake charmer and a contortionist. They seem to have checked all their “carnevil” boxes.
Oct 28, 10pm, $25-$250, Mr. Purple at Hotel Indigo, 180 Orchard St (between Stanton and Houston), 212-237-1790, tickets here

Lazer Brunch Halloween Edition at Social Drink & Food
You require: Some combination of costumed laser tag and day drinking.
You’ll receive: A 2,000-square-foot warehouse fit for “haunted laser tag” with a live DJ—an ideal prequel to Bloody Marys and an Israeli brunch next door at Green Fig. We think so, at least.
Oct 29, 1-6pm, $20, Social Drink & Food at Yotel, 570 10th Ave (between 41st and 42nd), 646-449-7790, tickets here

You Are So Lucky Masquerade Party at the Manor
You require: A decadent 72-room Gothic manor house.
You’ll receive: Burlesque, circus performances and ample room to dance. Seventy-two rooms, to be precise.
Oct 29, 9pm-5am, $77-$155, The Manor, undisclosed location, tickets here

The Haunted Hotel at Gansevoort Meatpacking
You require: Sexy costumes, good music and a 360-degree view of your city.
You’ll receive: VIP entry to this Meatpacking rooftop with an hour of vodka open bar. Oh, and our Perks friends will help you out on the admission-price front.
Oct 29, 9pm, $20 through UD Perks, Gansevoort Meatpacking, 18 9th Ave (at 13th), 212-206-6700, tickets here

Clue Masquerade Ball at Dear Irving
You require: Masked revelry in parlor rooms.
You’ll receive: A Clue-themed cocktails-and-dancing situation in the (ever so handsome) Dear Irving space. Plus, many valiant attempts at Miss Scarlet.
Oct 29, 10pm-2am, $125, Dear Irving, 55 Irving Pl (between 17th and 18th), tickets here

Coney Island Freak Show at Westlight
You require: More than just a good rooftop party.
You’ll receive: How do fire-eaters, snake charmers, sweeping views of Manhattan from across the bridge and food by Andrew Carmellini sound? We thought so.
Oct 31, 7pm-2am, no cover, Westlight at The William Vale, 111 N 12th St (between Berry and Wythe), Brooklyn, 718-307-7100, reservations recommended

The Last Dance Halloween at No. 8
You require:
A good old-fashioned Meatpacking club. Decorated for the occasion, of course.
You’ll receive: A costumed bash in the spot named after the bungalow of the Beverly Hills Hotel. And an open bar, for those who choose to go VIP. Here again, Perks will help you sort that out, if you like.
Oct 31, 9pm, $20 through UD Perks, No. 8, 357 W 16th St (at 9th), 212-206-1096, tickets here
