Drawing from rich and complex flavors of Ethiopian cuisine, our menu features several distinctly spiced vegetarian and Vegan dishes, as well as a variety of meat dishes. Dishes are made in the form of stew or stir-fry, served with injera, which is a flat bread made from fermented teff and barley flour.
In order to deliver our healthy and fresh meals fast, we have improved recipes, cooking methods, quality assurance and process flow- all while upholding authenticity and quality. Letena imports quality spices from Ethiopia that are difficult, if not impossible, to replicate here. We have also consulted with renowned Ethiopian chefs from Addis Ababa who have intimate knowledge of the cooking methods of chefs who used to manage the Royal Palace’s kitchens in Ethiopia during Emperor Haile Selassie’s reign. This helped us develop our recipes and atmosphere.
