A stone’s throw from the Palais des Festivals, on the Boulevard de la Croisette, La Môme Plage is taking you into the world of boating and the glorious years of the French Riviera. With a refined decoration inspired by the mythical Aquarama boat from Riva, everything has been designed to literally transport guests into this retro and glamorous era. To complete this decoration, the famous pictures of the American photographer Slim Aarons are displayed inside the Beach Restaurant. Under his lens, he loved to capture the essence of la Dolce Vita and built his career on what he called “photographing seductive people doing seductive things in seductive places”.

It is easy to sunbathe on the deckchairs or on the pontoon of his private beach for a carefree moment. As for the cooking, Chef Alexandre Elia offers refined cooking with a Mediterranean touch. There is something for everyone, from starters to be shared in a convivial atmosphere, to a very fine menu of grilled meat and fish, recipes with a sunny flavor or signature sushi.

For lunch, dinner or brunch, chef Alexandre Elia will awaken your taste buds with his sunny recipes in perfectly prepared dishes! The beach Restaurant offers a menu combining charming Mediterranean cooking, dishes to share, a sushi bar and many vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. The starters include black chickpea hummus from Puglia, 500g burrata with seasonal tomatoes, eggplant chips and ceviche. As for the dishes : the famous homemade macaroni with truffles or the beautiful pieces of fish and grilled meat. “We are taking a very Mediterranean approach”, explains the chef Alexandre Elia. The cooking has taken a new turn in recent years ; customers want to eat well but also be amazed. We try to prepare a number of dishes in front of the guests, such as fish or large pieces of meat. It’s part of the atmosphere!
