The Otheroom Arrives in Vegas

Now that you have a Vegas location of The Otheroom, the LA and NYC-imported cocktail bar of some renown, now open at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. See the slideshow.

You and your date will wander past a stunning light display topping the round, center bar to find your way on to the outdoor patio, so that umbrellas and misters can cool you off while you peruse the menu for your first round. Why else?

If you’re into having dessert first, you two will get into something like a frozen Too School for Cool, with blood orange vodka, triple sec and mango yogurt cream. Or if this is a more traditional relationship, a Smokey and the Bandit, with bourbon, smoked peach liqueur and ginger beer. Not that anyone’s calling it a relationship right now.

All your gabbing about the ersatz Trevi Fountain may soon work up an appetite, in which case you may have to summon shiitake burgers and a short rib grilled cheese, with maple bacon tots on the side.
