The brightly colored interiors bring an upbeat California-modern vibe inside to contrast to London’s greyness outside. Rooms range from Singles – perfect for solo travelers – to the King’s Terrace with its own private terrace fit for royalty.
The hotel’s hotly anticipated restaurants include Isla and Double Standard. The two will have two distinct personalities — Isla, inspired by Britain’s island geography, will offer an approachable seasonal menu and a predominantly natural wine list. The outdoor space will have a retractable awning, allowing guests to enjoy the summer sun. Double Standard, The Standard, London’s bar, will serve hearty fare accompanied by draft beers and classic cocktails. Both restaurants are overseen by Chef Adam Rawson, a rising stars of the London culinary scene.
