A FiDi Lunch Spot Dedicated Entirely to Meatballs

Description

In the immortal words of Ron Swanson, “Never half-ass two things. Whole-ass one thing.” Taking that advice to heart is the Meatball Bar, a new FiDi lunch spot that’s focusing on serving you spherical foods and… mostly just spherical foods. But also beer and wine. Anyway, it’s open now and you should check it out here. Bring some work people along and file into the swiftly moving line. Small place. Lots of wood. Few random world clocks on the wall. But, most importantly, there’s a menu. The kind where you get to choose from seven regular balls like Italian classic, turkey, chicken or vegetarian, plus specials like shrimp or salmon, then match them with six sauces like spicy meat, pineapple bbq, Korean Gochujang and truffle fondue. So that’s neat. But you’ll probably also want to grab a drink. Perhaps an Anchor Steam or Cali Coast Kolsch if it’s that kind of work lunch. If not, there’s always kombucha gingerade on tap. Meatballs and drink in hand, head to the back of the restaurant, past the wall of meat grinders and straight for a seat at the communal table. Or don’t and just get everything to go. Glad we could have this meatball talk.
