Crazy time in Chicago. The election’s the election. Game 7’s happening. And something called Burrito Lab
has usurped the kitchen at Surf, producing Hawaiian-y pork shoulder burritos, vegan burritos with hemp
hearts and, for a limited time, Chicago-style hot dog burritos. So, yeah, they’re flying that W pretty
fucking hard.

            The Moral of This Story Is Most Definitely Rum

Renowned tiki drink enthusiast Paul McGee collaborated on an overproof rum called Plantation O.F.T.D., and
it’s finally available in Chicago. So tonight, he’s throwing a little launch party at Lost Lake with
O.F.T.D. Old Fashioneds, O.F.T.D. Daiquiri Frappes and a fruity drink served in a pineapple. It too contains
rum.
