The Essence Festival is an annual cultural celebration that seamlessly blends music, art, empowerment, and community. Founded in 1995 by Essence Communications, the festival has evolved into a vibrant and iconic event, drawing attendees from around the world. Held in New Orleans, Louisiana, the Essence Festival spans a weekend and features an incredible lineup of musical performances from diverse genres, ranging from R&B and hip-hop to gospel and jazz.

However, the Essence Festival is more than just a music event; it is a holistic experience that includes thought-provoking keynote speakers, empowering panel discussions, and opportunities for personal and professional development. The festival is known for its commitment to showcasing and uplifting Black artists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders, creating a platform that celebrates the richness of Black culture.

Beyond the stages and sessions, the Essence Festival incorporates a marketplace known as the Essence Eats, where attendees can indulge in delicious cuisine and explore a variety of vendors. The festival’s atmosphere is one of unity and celebration, fostering connections among people who share a passion for culture, music, and the empowerment of the Black community.

In essence, the Essence Festival is a dynamic convergence of entertainment, inspiration, and cultural expression, leaving a lasting impact on all who partake in its electrifying and uplifting atmosphere.

• Due to contractual obligations with the Four Points by Sheraton. All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE.
• No name changes are allowed
• At check-in, one person in each room will be required to present a credit card for incidentals.
• Travel Insurance is available through Allianz Insurance
• Rates are subject to increase.
• If you fail to make monthly payments, your reservations are subject to cancellation and all monies paid will be forfeited.
• A $50 late fee will be imposed for all payments received after the final payment deadline (NO EXCEPTIONS).
