The Upper West’s a loft-like, open kitchened bistro w/ a huge patio, serving up dolled-up versions of American classics and helmed by a team that’s been in charge of restaurants the world over, from Miami, to Tel Aviv, to, yes, even Fort Worth, Texas. The atmosphere at this bright spot on Pico is relaxed, fun, and with food that has is unbelievably good. The crispy ahi tuna tacos, lamb nachitos, and pork tenderloin are all must-orders. And we’ll say this exactly once – they might have the best veggie burger in town.
