Description

Ultra is over.

It’s Monday.

You’re just sitting there.

Yep. Conditions are perfect for the Langford Hotel, a new Downtown relaxateria that would like for you to drink in its rooftop lounge, sprawl out in its penthouse suite and generally leisure better than your peers. It’s open now and here’s the slideshow.

Regardless of how you choose to play this, you’ll want to allow yourself some time to take in all of the beaux arts splendor of this 1925 bank turned hotel. The ’20s-era molding. The marble. The original US Postal Service letterbox.

When you make your entrance, you’ll be ushered to the second-floor Sky Lounge, adjacent to a cozy curated library, to check in and grab a quick cup of coffee. Assuming you’re checking in, that is. Actually, you’re checking in. We just decided that you’re checking in.

Because when life hands you a 1,400-square-foot, two-story penthouse suite, you make… whatever it is you’re inclined to make out of such things.

And coming soon, more good things. Pubbelly-related good things. Because your favorite tapas whisperers are about to open a restaurant called PB Station and a lounge called Pawnbroker.

So… good hotel.
