Here’s your chance to watch Point Break while the waves crash behind you. Movies in the Sand kicks off at Edition with the Swayze/Reeves joint, gratis popcorn and plenty of cocktails in the little nook just off the pool and beach. Again, Point Break. We really can’t stress that part enough.

Big Bang, Frost Science’s fundraiser, is about to transform the museum into a clubby atmosphere with music, an open bar, places like Boulud Sud doing food, silent discos, VR experiences and you thinking science is suddenly way less science-y.

Amara at Paraiso, that handsome restaurant that popped up during Basel, is here for good now. As are the James Beard Award-winning chef’s short rib empanadas. And the banana leaf-wrapped cobia. Sure, the beautiful views of Biscayne Bay and the deck seating can stick around, too.
