            This Pinball Exhibit Is a Pinball Exhibit

You were probably not aware that Chicago was the birthplace of pinball. Or that Columbia is hosting the
first-ever exhibit dedicated to pinball, featuring old machines, documentary videos and preproduction
sketches from iconic pinball designers. Or that the opening reception is Friday. But that’s okay. You just
read this.

GLOW AND BEHOLD

            Expo Is Here. So Is This Glow-in-the-Dark Dinner.

That big international modern art thing, otherwise known as Expo, is coming to Chicago this weekend. And
with it, this: a glow-in-the-dark dinner at the Virgin Hotel, complete with glowing cocktails and a custom
splatter painting from visiting British artist Millie Brown. So that’ll be an interesting date night.

            Common’s Music Festival Is Back. It’s So Back.

After a yearlong hiatus, Common’s Aahh! Fest returns to Union Park with a live DJ battle and performances
from the likes of J. Cole, the Roots and Common himself. Just because you have to scream to pronounce the
name of this thing doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go.

Sam Eichner likes literature, reality television and his twin cats equally. He has consistently been told he needs a shave since he started growing facial hair.
