The Shelborne just added two of Miami’s most important summer components to its Saturdays: a pool party and a barbecue. Expect grilled crawfish tamales, grilled beef flank steak carne asada, tequila drinks from the Bodega bar pop-up and DJ-spun tunes. And you jumping into a pool.
HOSTEL TAKEOVER
The Freehand is about to transform 30 of its rooms into individual parties centered around a featured spirit. Fulfill your wanderlust by going room to room, then head out to the beer garden where the Old Fashioned bar lives. You’ll allow the thematic disconnect.
PURDY DANCING
After 17 years, Purdy Lounge got a makeover. And now it’s time for the big reveal, which works because you could use something new to sip on and look at. We suggest the colorful retro mural, blue booths and Coco Plum with bourbon, plum bitters and coconut ice cube. Not necessarily in that order.
NOTHING BUT ‘NET
