Here to assist, we’ve got Nap York: a chic oasis offering a plethora of well-thought-out places to nap, snack, meditate and just generally recharge. It’s open now in Midtown.
What you’ll find here are four floors dedicated to your health and well-being. How nice. And it’s quite sleek: a minimalist space that’s all lush greenery, black leather and cozy down blankets. We’ll break it all down a bit more descriptively, below…
—You’ll enter into the cafe section of the space, where you can order a goji berry-cantaloupe-banana smoothie or whipped tumeric pudding bowl with mango and coconut from a tablet, scoop it up off the conveyor belt then consume it next to a living plant wall. 2018, baby.
—Up on the second floor is where you’ll nap in a private pod with a starlit ceiling, airweave mattress and soundproof curtains. The pods come with a hot towel and charcoal water, and can turn to complete darkness, if complete darkness is what you’re going for.
—One floor higher is the one with all those fun-looking egg chairs by the windows. It’s where you might relax, read, participate in a guided meditation or hit a midday yoga class.
—And up on the fourth floor, that’s where people are getting productive. Moveable desks, comfy chairs and adjustable lights. Bring your laptop and get some work done.
But yeah, just staying in your starlit nap chamber is also an option.
