Swing Chairs and Neon Cocktails in Cow Hollow

You know what bars don’t have nearly enough of?

Swings. Yep, swings.

But we’re happy to report that the madness stops at Del Mar, a new tropical oasis of a bar in the former HiFi Lounge space with plenty of swing chairs for you to relax on while sipping neon cocktails. It’s open now in Cow Hollow. Check it out. 

You and some friends will enter this lush paradise, parting the palm fronds that blend in with the custom jungle wallpaper, and make your way to the bar.

You’ll peruse a list of cheeky cocktails like the Pretty Fly for a Mai Tai or the Beachhh Please, which combines pineapple-and-jalapeño-infused tequila, passionfruit, lime juice and, presumably, a decent amount of sass.

Take your neon-colored drink to the blacklit area toward the back where it’ll be even more neon. If it’s a weekend night, a DJ will be doing DJ things, thus prompting you to storm the dance floor with great abandon.

Or better yet, go ahead and just find someone to retire to the loveseat swing with.
