Where to Sip Tequila Inside the SLS Lux Brickell

You already know all about the new SLS Lux. The pool. The rock climbing wall. The pool.

But we promised you more.

So today, we give you more in the form of S Bar. And on Monday, we’ll give you more still from that very venue in the form of… well, you’ll see.

As for S Bar, it’s a come-hither new drinkery that’s soft-open now for private events and fully opens Monday at the SLS Lux Brickell. Check it out.

You’ll head here with some office people for happy hour cocktails. But don’t be surprised if you find yourself catching up with a date well after that. It’s the kind of place you’ll have a hard time parting with once you’ve staked your claim to a seat under an oversized chandelier. The vibe feels pretty bohemian overall. 

The vibe also feels pretty conducive to a cocktail over at the marble bar. A round of South Beach Sunburns sounds about right. Its blend of tequila muddled with serrano pepper and cilantro lime is just the right balance of stiff and warm.

And if you happen to notice a live jazz band playing, that’s because there will be a live jazz band playing.
