A Bohemian Refuge For Your Marina Dinner Dates

A Bohemian Refuge For Your Marina Dinner Dates

Description

You wanted to show your date you were different.

So you bravely deemed charcuterie passé.

Then almost managed to say “seacuterie” with a straight face.

You crazy kids are clearly at Cafe Boho, a new date spot with a freethinking philosophy behind their cuisine, now open in the Marina. See the slideshow.

You and a special someone will enter and immediately be confronted with orderly glass cases full of wine. It’ll be reassuring to see them. Then you’ll be led to a table underneath an exposed brick wall to peruse the menu. It’ll happen just like that.

Obviously, you’ll try the seacuterie platter for the ahi tuna pastrami and royal white sturgeon boudin blanc. And for your main course, you’ll either do the porcini pappardelle or persuade your confidante to go in on the 36oz bone-in tomahawk ribeye with you.

Once you’ve made those decisions and finished your low-ABV Rosary cocktail with Cocchi Americano, dry vermouth, rose water and lemon bitters, you’ll turn to the sommelier. And order whichever bottle of Italian or French or local or Mexican wine they’re suggesting.

You may even have to make it two.

Just to make up for that whole low-ABV incident.
