A Favorite South Bay Lunch Spot Finds Its Way to the City

Description

Eating a healthy lunch can be a real struggle.

But—and this part’s important—only if you’re doing it completely wrong.

Idea: do it completely right once South Bay favorite Oren’s Hummus opens its first San Francisco restaurant tomorrow. It’ll look like this. It’ll be glorious.

You and a few lunch friends will walk into a handsome establishment just off of Yerba Buena Gardens one afternoon in the very near future. And you’ll know you’re in the right establishment when you see a giant chandelier hanging over the dining room.

Another telltale sign might be the scent of delicious Israeli food wafting into your nostrils. Crazy how these things happen. Take a seat at a wooden table and start pointing at things on the menu. Things like shakshouka and chicken schnitzel pita sandwiches. Oh, and hummus. Of course there will be hummus.

And since it’ll be the middle of the day, you’ll want something light to drink. Perhaps a nice rosé from Provence or a Goldstar Israeli lager. Or maybe ignore everything we just said and get your bounty to go. Enjoy a nice little lunch in Yerba Buena or something.

You and your office will always have your memories.
