A Hollywood Steakhouse From an Eminent Master of Barbecue

Description
You still have dreams of making it in Hollywood.
Wait, we messed up.
You still have dreams of making it to Hollywood to eat at the most anticipated steakhouse of the year.
It’s called APL Restaurant and it’s the first LA spot from the classically-trained-chef-cum-barbecue-expert—Adam Perry Lang—that you’ve seen popping up sporadically in Jimmy Kimmel’s backlot. It’s open now at Hollywood & Vine.
There’s a lot of fascinating stuff we could tell you about this place.
Like how the chef forged his own steak knives to help you make quick work of the porterhouse coming from the dry-aging room under the restaurant.
How you’ll probably want an Aztec Gold (tequila, Ancho Reyes, crème de cacao and golf leaf) from the 20-foot tigerwood bar. Or a whiskey.
How you’ll likely suspect that Kimmel himself is having his way with a lamb T-bone in the semi-private room while you and friends wisely choose to eat in the atrium.
How Salma Hayek’s brother had a hand in the design with Kathy Delgado, which harkens back to the steakhouses of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
How you can even reserve an entire primal section of beef for Lang to cut for you personally.
We could tell you these things and more. Or we could just let you look at all these beautiful photographs of meat because we know you already really want to eat here.
It really would’ve been a shame to waste your time telling you all those things.
