And since difficult doesn’t fall in line with your core Friday values, we’d like to present a solution.
Step right up to the counter at RT Rotisserie instead. It’s a casual new soup, sandwich and, yes, rotisserie spot from the people behind Rich Table, and it’s open now in Hayes Valley. Check it out.
On any given afternoon, you and some work people will walk into the wood paneled, sun-splashed space and take stock of the menu board above the counter (or just check it out right here). You’ll talk about Brian and his hilarious new stand-up desk while you wait in line. Perhaps you’ll even talk about things that are not that.
Eventually, a pleasant person will deliver your Rich Table-approved sandwich, like the chicken one with pickled onion and Douglas Fir, to your table, at which point eating will happen. Someone else will have gotten the chicken, pork or cauliflower rotisserie with chimichurri. You’ll make a remark about getting that next time. The world will keep spinning.
And seeing as they have beer and several wines (including two reds made specially for Rich Table and RTR), you’ll probably have some of that stuff, too.
You’re only trying to do that which is just and fair.
