The power of the taco is absolute.
It cannot be contained by trivial things like “county borders” and “area codes.”
No.
And so we have the new South Miami location of Tacocraft, that place you go to for carne asada tacos, giant burritos and the life-quenching margaritas that accompany them. It’s open now and it looks precisely like this.
The original location: Fort Lauderdale. Which can be a tad inconvenient to get to on pretty much any day ending with a Y. So they’ve commandeered a cozy corner down in South Miami and turned it into a lively spot for you and your friends to enjoy tacos and 120 different tequilas.
And they’ve chosen to house all of that in a space with railroad ties that’ve been fashioned into chandeliers and murals of Pancho Villa and a sexy female sugar skull. Hey, it works.
But about those tacos—you’ll find the standards like carne asada, short rib and tuna. But also, a rotating list of daily specials that might include an oyster po’boy or lobster tempura version. You can also opt for one of their giant burritos on the patio while drinking a citrus-chili margarita made with orange, lime and one of those 120 tequilas.
Did we mention there’s 120 tequilas?
