There’s a brand new “Uni Fest” menu on offer at the minimalist Midtown East Japanese spot Mifune New York—and it’s got some of the most outlandish uni-involving dishes we’ve seen.Â
The dishes have been crafted by chef Yuu Shimano, previously of three-Michelin-starred Guy Savoy in Paris, and the a la carte menu includes house-made brioche with seaweed butter and uni, Angus beef tartar with sake-steamed clam gelee and uni, bluefin tuna tempura with poached egg and rice with uni, and an uni flight with whatever’s good that day.
