Suit, There It Is

Today: as little clothing as possible.

Four weeks from today: maybe something a bit more formal.

Behold Indochino. It’s from Canada. It wants to make you a new suit. And maybe a shirt. If this all sounds acceptable, you’ll find it in Beverly Hills starting tomorrow. Here’s your slideshow.

At one time you’d only find these guys online. Then through roaming pop-ups. Those were dark times that we’re going to cease talking about. Because now they’ve materialized into a bright showroom swathed in leather sofas, button-down shirts and fabric panels. Also, there’s a foosball table. Focus.

First, make an appointment. It’s the only way you’ll get quality time with them, being extensively measured while maybe discussing the inherent merits of gray sharkskin versus blue sharkskin. Probably not. But you can theoretically take it all the way here. Lapel widths, button color and monograms are all on the table.

Next, your suit will be made. Somewhere far away. You won’t have to be there for that part. Within four weeks, it shall be complete. Then delivered to your place of work or just your place.
